Motivating Adult Learners: Research-Based Strategies

This session will support efforts to bolster motivation and persistence in adult learners. What does research tell us about the roles of self-efficacy, goal setting, and the learning environment in engaging and retaining learners? We will consider how these factors play broadly into our lives as adults and consider specific implications for instructional settings and practices. Gain perspectives on persistence and connect to additional resources available on LINCS.
